Nestled by the sand dunes & with less than a minutes walk to the Blue Flag beach you will find Clipper Cottage, Sea Palling, which has been loving restored & continually improved. In January, 2020 Clipper had an en-suite installed in the master bedroom;a new range cooker in June 2020 & in January 2021 internal installation & the toilet separated from the bathroom; February 2021 a new wood burner in the lounge & early 2022 a brand new kitchen.
Its origins date back to 1874 & the story goes that is was once two cottages built by Wreckers. Evidence of this can be seen in the master bedroom en-suite where there is part of the mast of a ship. I have been told that a relative of Robbie Burns used to live at the cottage during the 1950's.
There is a tranquil, mature garden with peaceful places to sit & relax - the patio or the garden bench might take your fancy or elsewhere. For the children a living wigwam is establishing itself. Ample parking for four cars.
Wherever you are you will be sure to enjoy the beauty of Clipper Cottage & its surroundings. If you visit between late autumn to spring there are seals & their pups to view at Horsey Gap, <4 miles away.

Rates are seasonal commencing from £965 per week.
Minimum stays of
3 nights is preferred
however,
shorter stays could be considered at a slightly higher rate.

Close by you will find the Reefs Bar for liquid refreshment or the meal you don't fancy cooking.
Look for the cafe for a hot drink, snack & freshly made donuts & the small amusement arcade just because. Also look for the old photos of Sea Palling & the 1953 flood.
Incidentally, opposite Clipper's driveway there is a small park where the children can have fun if they are tired of the beach & sea.
Prices at the local shop are reasonable and the shop is well stocked.
Perhaps fresh fish & shellfish are to your liking. If so why not try the local fish merchant? He is frequently to be seen fishing off of Sea Palling's coast. Many watch him launch his boat and also the volunteers launch their lifeboat. Ask the locals for information.
Explore the surroundings and discover treasures galore - the seals at Horsey for example. Sea Palling is conveniently located for short day trips say to Norwich or Great Yarmouth but more than anything, enjoy the Blue Flag beach & Clipper Cottage.
